Kirsten McHarry is a South African medical doctor who supported the Antiretroviral rollout in 2003. She set up delivery of ARVs to Primary Health Care facilities in Rural Zululand to improve access to treatment. She went on to work with the IMAI team in WHO Headquarters where she led the development of the IMAI District Clinician Manual, as well as adaptation and implementation support of the IMAI package for several countries in Africa and Asia. Kirsten currently works as a Principal Investigator on clinical trials for TASK EDEN in George, South Africa and as a part-time technical consultant for the IMAI Alliance.
