 There are many ways to get involved with the IMAI Alliance:

• Amazon Smile- Please consider IMAI-IMCI Alliance as your charity of choice when shopping on Amazon.

• Volunteer- we are always looking for eager and dedicated students with relevant experience who are looking for internships in the following areas:

  • Clinical care- minimum qualification is MS3 or higher

  • Grant writing/Fundraising

  • Health education/Counselling

  • Social media/ website/ marketing

• Donations of medical equipment that are much needed in rural areas include:

  • Pulse oximeters

  • Digital (with adaptor) and manual blood pressure monitors

  • Stethoscopes

  • Weight scale

  • Glucometers/lancets/strips

For donations of medical equipment, please contact us to see if we can take the items. Due to international travel and shipping restrictions and delays during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are limited in what can be shipped. It is also important that we are able to evaluate medical equipment before providing it to a health facility for patient use.

We are thankful to OMRON Healthcare, Inc for supporting the IMAI Alliance with blood pressure monitors for Ugandan health facilities and COVID-19 relief in India. The IMAI Alliance has also been working with partners e.g. NGOs, FBOs in India and hospital systems in the US to support transport of needed medical supplies to rural general hospitals and makeshift hospitals in India.
